I wanted to create a grunge typeface that represented the dive bar scene. The illustration was inspired by a photographer moriyama, but taken to a more graphical level. I thought this mix of gaudy explicit nature with a punk horror grunge feel worked well together. This poster never seizes to catch peoples eyes, which in my opinion is a great success.
